Arbor Day Weekend - Uprooting Invasives

Stick around after our Noteworthy Trees Tour and continue the Arbor Day weekend celebration by helping to uproot invasive plants, shrubs, and trees on Fernwood’s grounds. Our horticulturist will point out which invasives to be aware of in rural,  suburban, and commercial areas as we work together to make space for our native tree population to stabilize and thrive. 

Audience: All ages

Location: Meet at the Visitors Center front desk 

Cost: Volunteers receive free admission plus free drinks and snacks!

Walk-ins are welcome, but please let us know you’re planning to join us by registering.
